Anyway, I was on YouTube just now, just browsing, and somehow YouTube recommended a Tiler Peck re-creation of the last dance in Center Stage. So I watched even though I'm weirdly meh about Tiler Peck; she's a good dancer and I know nothing to her discredit, but I just don't get excited about her. Anyway, it got very meta because as it turns out, although Amanda Schull wasn't as good in her technique as Tiler Peck is*, she really was more interesting to watch in this dance. So I guess Amanda Schull : Tiler Peck :: Jody Sawyer : um, still Tiler Peck.
*Because, well, Amanda Schull hadn't even started her apprentice year yet, and Tiler Peck is a principal dancer.
